Ice Skating Poems

*
*
Lyrical Poem
I stepped on the ice with my skates,
and it sent a warning to my brains,
it said be careful,
don't fall,
just crawl,
I held on to the sides,
and took deep breaths,
be brave I told myself,
breathe in and out
remember, in and out.

Haiku
Chill air through my hair,
makes me feel like i'm soaring,
together with the wind.

Concrete poem
I stepped on the skating rink with my skates and started to skate. It was like fate. I was ment to skate. It WAS fate. It has been waiting for me all this time. Waiting patiently. I have finally arrived. I knew somewhere in the core of my heart that the skating rink wanted me to be here.

Fatulence

This was written on the 17th February. I posted it a little late.

Someone farted in yoga class today. Fortunately there wasn't any smell.. My mom says that people fart during yoga because of the breathing they have to do. It's a good thing. At least that's what she says.

So it was my first day of yoga class today. A yoga master came. All he was clad with was white. White shirt, white pants and white socks. His hair and eyebrows were off white. He's the yoga master...... He's 70 and has perfect eyesight. He DOESN'T wear glasses. I do. I didn't enjoy it. He spoke in Tamil. I only could understand a little bit. He talked for an whole hour. Made my head spin.

We did some really weird stuff. I laughed throughout the whole class. And laughed more when someone farted. Hilarious. He he he
P.S. I never found the farter...

How trees make me feel

Just imagine this, you are walking along the shore of the beach, the first thing you hear is the waves hitting the shore, then usually, you hear some birds, but what I love to listen to the most are the trees shwish-ing and shwosh-ing. As everyone knows, it’s always windy at beaches and wind makes the trees move. But they are not just moving, they are talking to each other. Wishing the wind would never stop. They talk about everything.

There are usually are pine trees, coconut trees and well, other types of trees. The most I like are these two. If you sit under a tree, and if the wind is really strong, it would be perfect. You just sit there, with your eyes closed, breathing in the fresh air, you body, mind and soul will be cleansed.

If I lived by the sea side, I would have lots of coconut and pine trees, another thing I forgot to mention is the wind in your hair. Mmmm… Lovely.

This is exactly how trees make me feel.

Done

So, you may have noticed the changes. Or you may not have. Purple, pink and orange.

I may change it in time to come. But I like the way it looks now. Hope you like it too.
