Ice Skating Poems

*
*
Lyrical Poem
I stepped on the ice with my skates,
and it sent a warning to my brains,
it said be careful,
don't fall,
just crawl,
I held on to the sides,
and took deep breaths,
be brave I told myself,
breathe in and out
remember, in and out.

Haiku
Chill air through my hair,
makes me feel like i'm soaring,
together with the wind.

Concrete poem
I stepped on the skating rink with my skates and started to skate. It was like fate. I was ment to skate. It WAS fate. It has been waiting for me all this time. Waiting patiently. I have finally arrived. I knew somewhere in the core of my heart that the skating rink wanted me to be here.

Fatulence

This was written on the 17th February. I posted it a little late.

Someone farted in yoga class today. Fortunately there wasn't any smell.. My mom says that people fart during yoga because of the breathing they have to do. It's a good thing. At least that's what she says.

So it was my first day of yoga class today. A yoga master came. All he was clad with was white. White shirt, white pants and white socks. His hair and eyebrows were off white. He's the yoga master...... He's 70 and has perfect eyesight. He DOESN'T wear glasses. I do. I didn't enjoy it. He spoke in Tamil. I only could understand a little bit. He talked for an whole hour. Made my head spin.

We did some really weird stuff. I laughed throughout the whole class. And laughed more when someone farted. Hilarious. He he he
P.S. I never found the farter...

How trees make me feel

Just imagine this, you are walking along the shore of the beach, the first thing you hear is the waves hitting the shore, then usually, you hear some birds, but what I love to listen to the most are the trees shwish-ing and shwosh-ing. As everyone knows, it’s always windy at beaches and wind makes the trees move. But they are not just moving, they are talking to each other. Wishing the wind would never stop. They talk about everything.

There are usually are pine trees, coconut trees and well, other types of trees. The most I like are these two. If you sit under a tree, and if the wind is really strong, it would be perfect. You just sit there, with your eyes closed, breathing in the fresh air, you body, mind and soul will be cleansed.

If I lived by the sea side, I would have lots of coconut and pine trees, another thing I forgot to mention is the wind in your hair. Mmmm… Lovely.

This is exactly how trees make me feel.

Done

So, you may have noticed the changes. Or you may not have. Purple, pink and orange.

I may change it in time to come. But I like the way it looks now. Hope you like it too.

Make OVER!

My blog needs a major makeover. It needs a theme.

Hmm...

Maybe purple or red. Different shades.

I want it to look groovy.

I don't want it to look messy at the same time.

Makeover makeover makeove makeored makerety makeoverrrr....

I think i'll change the background to white and make everything colorful.

Maybe.

Or I could leave the background black and still have it colorful.

Black or white.

I like the black.

I could always change it back though.

I'm blabbering.

Gah! I'll do it when I feel like it.

Red ants can kill

On a Saturday (24/01/09) morning at 10, everyone was set. We were going to my grandmother’s house in Klang to do the gardening for her. She lived in a corner house filled with lots of plants and trees. When reached there at 11am, we got to work immediately and finally finished at 6pm. We were really pooped.

The best part of the day was when Leila and I were allowed to make a bon fire with a pile of dried leafs we colleted. Of course, we used a lighter. I found a stick, an old cloth, wrapped the cloth at the end of the stick and lighted it up (I wanted to dip the cloth end into some fuel, but my mom stopped me before I could make my next move, bummer). So anyways, we found tree branches infested with red ants. We destroyed them by throwing them into the fire. Muahaha. After awhile we couldn't find anything else to throw in, that's when it ended.

I also took pictures.

Da beau-ti-ful' Moon

I just realized, as we drove home from the Homeschool gathering tonight. I just realized, the moon is beautiful. I couldn't keep my eyes of it. If you look at it, it looks so far away. And just imagine, someone has set foot on it. Isn't it amazing?

It's 12:07am. Bye

Breathing again!

“Your blog is dead.”

Uh, thanks..

“Your blog’s crying for an UPDATE!”

Working on it!

“Why haven’t you blogged about the YWC camp yet?”

Sorry, I’ve been busy…?

Okay, okay. Finally, I’ve finally written something. I don’t know, I find my posts boring, except for the pictures. Maybe I’m a picture person. God knows…

So, Christmas is over. Next stop, NEW YEAR! Exciting… I have a great year ahead of me. Is it? *sigh* I wonder what I’ll achieve next year.

Anyways, I got some very awesome gifts this Christmas. I bought a few for myself too! He-he

- Nail art paint. (Mom’s begging me to do her nails now.) [From MOM]
- Really very cool Diva chain with earrings. (Very expensive too) [From MOM]
- Very fine brushes for nail art [From MOM]
- Really cool “Best friends” locket chain (From Diva again) [From MOM]
- Two soundtrack CD’s, Dreamgirls and Mamma Mia! (YAY me!) [From ME, MYSELF]
- A bottle of purple nail polish [From LEILA]
- Pair of earrings [From RON]
- Pair of earrings [From SHWETA]
- A ‘Sonia’ stamp [From JIAN LIN]
- An eyeball gummy marshmallow [From AUNTY RANI]
- Another pair of earrings [From AUNTY SWEE BIN]
- Two new blouses from Nichii Fashion City (Spent quite a bit) [From ME, again]
- A glow stick, blue one. [From RON]
- Candle holder [From LEILA]
- One blouse from Padini [From SONIA]

That’s quite a bit. Ha-ha, that’s a lot actually. I wasn’t expecting much really, but I treated myself to many other things, like watching many movies, (Twilight, Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging [yeah, snogging! Yes Man and Wild Child) ha-ha-ha-ha. I just wanted to really have fun, you know lah. I spent a lot in just a few weeks! I’ve never done that before! Need to start saving again!

Anyways, I’ll try to take pictures of all the gifts I got, and post them up here. Ha-ha. Okie dokie! Bye bye!
